1) 7” x 9” (180 × 230mm) piece of 3/8” (10mm) furniture grade plywood
1) 36” (915mm) long 3/8” (10mm) hardwood dowels
1) short piece of 1/4” (6mm) hardwood dowel
1) 1/8” (3mm) hardwood dowels
4) 3mm x 6mm Neodymium magnets
4) 1/8” (3mm) screw-eyes
1) 15” (380mm) 1/16” [16 Gauge] (1.6mm) steel wire.
A good source for the steel wire used for the hanger is construction flags. these are small hi-viz flags meant for laying out property lines or foundations. they can be purchased in small bundles of about 10-30 at most hardware stores and construction supply warehouses.
The other items should be purchased online or through a local hobby shop or woodworking store.
