Blue Bird Marionette 3:1 scale
In 2021 I was asked to build a Blue Bird marionette for a Mitski music video. The bird needed to flap its wings and be able to safely peck at the singer. It was engineered in Solidworks and 3D printed. a mold was made of the beak and it was cast in soft silicone. it used a counterweight system to flap the wings.
